Pricing & currency conversion

All package prices are stored in USD and converted to your selected display currency in real time using publicly available mid-market rates. Converted figures are indicative onlyand may differ from your bank's settlement rate or our supplier's contracted rate. The final invoiced amount is the supplier's confirmed price in the contract currency at time of booking.

Travel risk

International and domestic travel involves inherent risk. You are responsible for ensuring you hold valid passports, visas, vaccinations, and insurance for the destinations you visit. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance. Black Basket Travel is not liable for force-majeure events including (but not limited to) weather, civil unrest, pandemics, supplier insolvency, airline schedule changes, or government travel advisories.

Assumption of risk & indemnity

Activities and adventures we organise — including transport by vehicle, flight or boat, outdoor and nature-based activities, physical exertion, and interaction with wildlife and unfamiliar terrain — carry inherent risks that may result in injury, illness, death, or loss of or damage to property. By participating, you voluntarily assume these risks and indemnify and release The Black Basket PTY LTD, its directors, employees, guides, contractors and agents from claims arising directly or indirectly from your participation, to the extent permitted by law. A signed indemnity may be required before travel; you can complete, download, or submit it via the indemnity form in the Site footer, and the full terms appear in our Terms of Use.

Medical fitness & insurance

You are responsible for confirming you are medically fit for the activities you choose and for disclosing relevant medical conditions. We may arrange emergency assistance where reasonably possible but accept no responsibility for medical outcomes or costs. We do not provide personal travel insurance; we may suggest cover options, but ensuring you are adequately insured remains your responsibility.

Supplier-delivered services

Travel services on the Site (flights, accommodation, transfers, tours, insurance) are delivered by independent third-party suppliers. We act as a curator and booking agent. The contract for each service is between you and the supplier, on the supplier's booking terms which we will share with you in writing before confirming your booking.

Articles, travel guides, and recommendations published in the Knowledge Hub reflect our editorial opinion at time of writing and should not be construed as professional travel-medical, legal, or financial advice. Photography & geotagging

Some imagery and geocoordinates on the Site are licensed stock or representative photography of nearby locations.
